What is Premature Ejaculation?
Premature ejaculation is a common form of sexual dysfunction that is estimated to affect up to 40% of men. It is defined as an ejaculatory latency period of less than one minute. People with a latency period of less than 90 seconds have “probable” premature ejaculation. In other words, premature ejaculation is a sexual dysfunction where someone with a penis ejaculates after minimal sexual stimulation, faster than desired, and with little control over ejaculation.
While premature ejaculation can affect your sex life, it is a highly treatable condition with options such as prescription medications, therapy, and lifestyle changes.
What can cause premature ejaculation?
Premature ejaculation has a number of different causes, including psychological factors such as concerns about your sexual performance (also known as sexual performance anxiety), relationship problems, stress, or depression, as well as a number of physical factors, such as a hormonal imbalance or an infection in your urethra or prostate. In many cases, the cause cannot be determined. All of these factors can cause problems with ejaculation, including premature or premature ejaculation, which can affect your sexual relationships and encounters.
How can you cure premature ejaculation?

Squeezing technique: The pinching method is simply applying pressure to your penis when you're about to orgasm to reduce arousal. Kegel exercises: Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles can help you control the muscles around your urethra, which studies say can help with premature ejaculation.
Masturbation: Masturbating before intercourse can help you last longer during sexual activity.
Why do I need a prescription for PE treatment?
